About the e-learning and distance education unit 
A subsidiary academic organizational entity that coordinates with the Deanship of E-Learning to help faculty members and students interact in the educational activities provided for e-learning, and create an integrated e-learning environment by providing support and assistance to faculty members and students in the college. The unit is supervised by a distinguished faculty member in The field of technical use, and he is familiar with e-learning skills, programs and learning management, and he is linked to the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs and Development, and is assisted by a coordinator from the female section, who has the same features, who follows the Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, and they are assigned by the Dean of the College based on the nomination of the concerned College Vice Dean.

Tasks
  • ​Measuring the needs of faculty members and students in the college in the field of e-learning and distance education. 
  • Determining the college's needs of technological equipment and modern devices. Preparing the unit's strategic plan. 
  • Coordination and participation in the implementation of training courses based on the unit's plan in the field of e-learning in cooperation with the Deanship of e-learning at the university. 
  • Providing technical support to college employees and target groups in all e-learning software 
  • Spreading the culture of e-learning technology and its programs among faculty members and students in the college. 
  • Update the college's e-learning data and activities on the university's website. 
  • Follow up on the activation of the e-learning system and the training of the college's employees.​
  • Submitting the required periodic reports according to what is provided by the Deanship of E-Learning and the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs.
  • Follow up the technical readiness of the college's laboratories and halls, and provide technical denim to the college's employees. 
  • Studying the work assigned to it, submitting proposals and taking appropriate decisions within the limits of the powers granted or delegated by the authority in writing. 
  • Submit an annual report to the college administration on the activities of the committee.​
